Basic Developer
Objective
The objective is to train the student to become a basic application developer using CA Gen. He will get a good knowledge of CA Gen and the principles of modelling in CA Gen. Starting from the analysis and design diagrams an application is built. All important CA Gen diagrams will be discussed.
The student will learn the necessary basic CA Gen concepts to build an elementary CA Gen application. He will be familiar with topics like data structure list, procedures, action diagrams, user interfaces, information views etc.
He will learn how to design, generate and test the application. Many hands on tasks will give him the understanding and skills to understand and extend current applications.
The student will be able to build and maintain a standard client server application. He will get comprehensive practical skills. On completion of the training he will be able to start in a CA Gen development project immediately, performing general design and construction tasks.

Duration
The standard duration of the Basic Developer training is 10 days.
Prerequisites
The student has to be familiar with the general concepts of system development.
