Introduction to CA Gen

Objective

This course gives an introduction to CA Gen and the way it is used in application development.
On completion of the course the student will understand the concepts, techniques and diagrams of CA Gen. The student will learn how an application is built using CA Gen. He will have built a basic application.

This will enable the student to communicate with the developers using a common CA Gen language. Therefore this training is meant for anyone who is involved in application development using CA Gen, like business users, project leaders, analysts etc.

• Windows and Action Diagrams
• Gen encyclopedia
• Projects using CA Gen
• The role of the business user

After discussion of the theory many hands on exercises show the use of the CA Gen diagrams which are used during development.

Duration

The standard duration is 2 days.

Prerequisites

The student has to be familiar with the concepts of system development.
